Prescription cartons carry dosing, lot and expiry copy that cannot move between runs, and they have to survive a filling line, a pharmacy shelf and a patient's cabinet. A custom rx unit carton on reverse tuck end construction gives buyers a format that ships flat, closes without glue on the tuck flaps, and keeps all six panels available for mandatory text, Braille and a serialization area.
Boards are Solid Bleached Sulfate 14-18 pt where sharp small type and score memory matter, or Folding Box Board 250-300 gsm where a lighter caliper suits the line. Offset lithography holds brand color across repeat orders; digital printing absorbs artwork changes between lots without new plates.
Each dieline is confirmed against the bottle or blister footprint before tooling is released, and panel space for the serialization area, lot and expiry fields is reserved at that stage rather than added later. Procurement teams can run one structure across several bottle sizes by varying the dieline only.

- Mandatory copy fits without shrinking type, since the dieline reserves the serialization area, lot field and Braille line before artwork starts.
- Fewer stoppages on the filling line, because scores are set against the board caliper and cartons arrive flat or pre-glued in bundles by SKU.
- Print version control and change notification: every artwork revision is version-locked and released against a signed proof, so a superseded print cannot reach your line.
- Batch traceability with retained samples: each lot is recorded against its board reel and print run, and a retained sample is held so any question can be resolved against the actual production piece.
- Written quality agreement and open audit: we sign the quality agreement and open the production floor to your audit team, including artwork, printing and packing areas.

- Prescription bottle cartons for 30, 60 and 90 count fills
- Unit-dose and blister strip cartons for pharmacy dispensing
- Serialized cartons for markets requiring a unique identifier with tamper-evident closure
- Physician sample and starter packs
- Braille-embossed cartons for EU market placement
Can one carton carry a serialization panel and Braille on the same face?
Yes. The Braille field is embossed at a dedicated station and the serialization area is held clear of it by the dieline, so neither overruns the other. Both are proofed on the same white draw before plate making.
Can you work from a dieline we already run?
Yes. Send the dieline in AI, PDF or CAD. Score positions are checked against the board caliper and a marked revision is returned before tooling is released.
How is the side seam closed?
Side seams are glued with a water-based adhesive. Seam strength is checked as fibre tear coverage on the glued seam before the batch is packed.
How do you prevent a superseded artwork version from being printed on our next run?
Artwork is version-locked at release. Every revision is registered against a version number and released against a signed proof, and the superseded plate is withdrawn from the press area, so the file on our system and the file on your line carry the same version. A written change notification is issued before the next run starts.
What happens if a defect is found after our lot has shipped?
Your lot number resolves to the board reel and print run that produced it, and a retained sample from that lot is held on file. We pull the retained sample and the inspection record for the batch, compare them against the signed proof, and report what the production piece actually looked like.
